- What kind of time to I have to spend with a dog
- Energetic dog or a lazy lap dog.
- Do you have the time and patience it takes to train a puppy
- What kind of money do I have to spend
- Getting a dog is a lifetime commitiment are you willing to make this commitment
- Make sure you are buying from a breeder that gives guarantees on their puppies
- What your family’s lifestyle is
- Ages of children are also a concern in the breed that would be best for your family
