Bathing your Dog
When bathing your dog be sure to start at the neck area and work your way back to the tail with the water please make sure that the water is not to hot or to cold. Once you got your dog wet, start again at the neck and work your way back with the dog shampoo. Again start at the neck to wash the shampoo out. For most dogs you can use and over the counter shampoo. Dogs that have skin problems you should get a medicated shampoo from your local vet. Puppies can be bathed in a baby shampoo, please do not bath your puppy with a flea shampoo until at least 8 weeks of age. Nursing mother’s should also not be bathed in a flea shampoo,it can bring harm to the puppies. Always remember not to get water or shampoo in the dogs or puppies eyes and ears. When done bathing your dog rub him or her down with a dry towel and if they are longhaired dogs a nice brushing would complete the bathing process.
